In 2023, I did what any responsible person would do: I contacted law enforcement. My identity had been stolen, my information manipulated, and I had proof — emails, reports, and a Florida driver’s license that somehow showed I “never existed" in a state that I was raised and lived in for over 90% of my life. A deputy confirmed the glitch, wrote a report, and gave me a case number. Then … nothing. Months passed, then years. My life remained in limbo, caught between data corruption and bureaucratic disbelief.
When you’ve been digitally erased, you start to understand how revenge, humiliation, and spiritual warfare intersect. These acts don’t only target your reputation — they fracture your nervous system. They train your body to expect disbelief. You begin to internalize the shame that belongs to those who violated you.
Revenge porn, identity theft, false filings, or doctored data — each tactic feeds on public humiliation. The goal is to destroy credibility before you can prove innocence. It’s not just personal cruelty; it’s psychological programming designed to imprint helplessness and silence. For survivors of chronic trauma, this creates CPTSD imprinting — the looping belief that justice will never come, so survival must become your only focus.
But we can name the pattern for what it is: systemic digital gaslighting. And naming it is power.
There is still a way forward. Keep receipts. Save timestamps. Speak the truth even when it shakes your voice. The moment you share your story, you shift from evidence to witness — and witnesses change history.
No one deserves to be humiliated for existing, for speaking, or for surviving. And while the systems that failed to protect us may pretend otherwise, our stories are living proof that deletion does not equal disappearance.
